Type 2002 is a kind of global-style, single seat, cage-guided and direct-acting control valve, it offers push down-to-close plug action. The design features balanced valve plug, metal-PTFE seating for strict shutoff requirements, and SILEN-E cage and metal-to-metal seating for higher temperature application. All standard Trims for 2002 control valve are easy and quick interchangeable, noise-reducing cages and anti-cavitations cages with different designs attenuate aerodynamic noise in gaseous service, and reduce cavitations damage in liquid service. 2002 cage guided control valves are used for on-off and throttling control. They are suitable for wide range of pressure drops and temperature ranges. The process mediums include different kinds of gases and liquids. The applications cover different areas such as petrol-gas, chemical, power generation and steel industries.

Balanced plug design increase stability Plug construction has balanced and standard design, valve can be assembled with small thrust and low cost actuator, reduce the inventory need for parts. Different flow control In additional to the standard full flow trims, we also offer different flow-restrict trims for low flow control requirements. Full-sized trims and restricted-flow trims match the variable process flow demands. Save maintenance cost Different types of valve trims with standard design are easy and fast interchangeable, the valve body can stay on the pipe lines when dis-assemble the valve trims. Satisfy different process application Different combination of valve trim materials satisfy the special requirements for plug, stem, cage and seat ring, for the most flexible application. Stainless steel trims are hard facing to give the great wear resistance. PTFE seating to keep longer sealing Controlled compression of standard seat construction protects PTFE disk between metal disk seat and disk retainer. A back-up ring or spring-loaded forces the valve plug seal ring against the cage to maintain the excellent shutoff ability.The temperature limits are extended to 316 (600) for non-oxidizing service and to 260 (500 ) for oxidizing service. Different flow characteristics Standard valve cage/plug offer the following particular flow characteristics: Quick-opening, Linear, Equal percentage Higher flow capacity The flow channel has the character linear design, improves the flow capacity compare to normal valves. Valve plug stability under high pressure The valve cage guiding is strong and durable; reduce the damage by vibration and mechanical noise. Noise-reducing and anti-cavitations design Different effective designs of noise-reducing cages and anti-cavitations cages, attenuate aerodynamic noise in gaseous service, and reduce cavitations damage in liquid service. Cage SILEN-E1 (standard travel) and SILEN-E2(long travel) can be assembled to all 1” ~8” valve and prolong valve life time and reduce maintenance cost. Sour gas service capability The valve’s corrosive design follows NACE standard construction and trim parts material comply with standard MR-0175/ISO 15156 and NACE MR0103, available for sour fluids and gasses applications. Excellent packing sealing The packing system use material of PTFE, graphite or duplex packing, with live-loading design, offer reliable and excellent stem sealing, reduce the cost of packing replacement. Bonnet styles There are different bonnet types available: standardB0, extension B1, extension B2 and bellow typeB3, particular designed for different process temperature and leakage requirement.
